The Thomas Wolfe Center for Narrative

student practices the craft of writing at both the technical and ontological levels, exploring many other levels along the way— levels of narration, level of meaning, levels of self-discovery. Students learn how we recognize the “echoes of the eloquence within (J. Campbell)” and “cosmic gadgetry (Chogyam Trungpa Rinpoche). They engage the creative process and move through the wilderness of creativity the courage of community. The Thomas Wolfe Center for Narrative now houses an MFA in Creative Writing, a Certificate in Narrative Healthcare, and The Initiative for Storytelling and Cultural Healing at which The Story Shepherds are the very heart.
